An update that's not related to fighting games lol /time to catch up on flist

Well, Dad went back to Iraq Sunday and my brother went back to New York last Tuesday. Still didn't get to play SSFIV because he brought the wrong cords, and it would have been a waste of money for him to buy another cord since he only stayed for 4 days. It's all good, though. I'll get a PS3 of my own someday.......someday.....someday

Mom, on the other hand, has been making me feel guilty about my gaming hobby and my taste in clothes. I hate to go shopping with her. Every time we go, she'll pick up something obnoxiously frilly and she knows it's not me, and then she'll ask if I'd wear it. If I say no, the look on her face says she's judging me or she'll flat out say what's on her mind. "Oh all you do is wear androgynous clothes! These shorts don't even say 'girl'!" (btw, I don't know where androgynous even came from. I think it's pretty clear that my clothes do target girls/women) Then, when I pick something, she says "Oh don't pick that up!" And not too long ago, she got on me about how I buy games more often than a pair of shoes or clothes. fffff so what? It's my money, Mom. While I do agree with her on some points, I wish she wouldn't bring it up the way she does. She ends up making me really mad and end up not wanting to go anywhere with her or even talking.

That aside, next Friday, I'm going to Anime Mid Atlantic with modernmarvelous and a couple of other people. I'm really excited, since I've never been to an animu convention (or any other convention) a day in my life. And, no. I'm not cosplaying lol. Though I could do, like, a cheap 5 second Michiko minus the actual brown hair (since mine is jet black) and really revealing clothes XD I'll leave that to the experts and take pictures.

I drew this. I'm not pleased with his face. I'm pretty sure I'll end up drawing him again, followed by the girl. I really do like his (and the girl's) design.

I need to get around to watching that 35-minute exhibition of KOF XIII. No Idea why I keep putting it off.

This week's Boondocks was hilarious (as usual). And so was last week's, though it was horrendously racist lol

Bleach Spoilers because I really haven't talked about Bleach or other fandoms lately. But anyway, I'm not impressed. Then again, Bleach hasn't been all that exciting to me lately, although Isshin, Yoruichi and Urahara came back, which was awesome. And the whole Aizen shedding his shell or whatever really made me think of a caterpillar. Aaaaaa I just want Aizen to go away already :| But yay Hiyori spine!


Oh yeah. There have been so many friending memes going around lately but that obviously didn't stop me from poking around. So I'd like to welcome fallacist , nekovampluna , and gaki ! And that show Basketball Wives....Why is it even called that? More like Basketball jumpoffs or exes. Only one or 2 people on there are married. C'mon, son.

I'm glad la Signora gave up years ago about clothing, because I really can't stand wearing anything too femminine and I HATE buying clothes. Even my brother has got more than me, L M F A O.

I don't know what to tell you about clothes - I usually wear jeans and a tshirt and call myself good. I dislike shopping for clothes except for very rare occasions when some little feminine voice arises from the back of my mind to go "SHOOES. GO SARAH GOOO."
I definitely have more video games than shoes, and I see nothing wrong with that! Don't let your mum get you down. <3

Yeah, I normally wear jeans and a t-shirt or a "girly" shirt every now and then, too. Sometimes, shopping is really a pain and other times it's not so badin my opinion.
