LOL This seems to be true. When I was in middle/high school (both were predominately black), almost every guy I've interacted with would always mention DBZ to me when they saw me draw stuff.

Haha, it's sort of the same thing with my dad. He basically watched DBZ with me and my brother when we were kids, and recently told me he liked Rurouni Kenshin.
